Remote Access (using your server)
JobPro Central can be hosted on your own server at your office. To do this you will need a copy of FileMaker Server and the ability to make your server available to your users via a static IP address over the internet. If necessary you can manage user access through external authentication via Active Directory/Open Directory. SSL encryption can be used for secure data transfer. Data is also secure while hosted on FileMaker Server using powerful 256-bit AES encryption. FileMaker recommends having a dedicated machine to run your instance of FileMaker Server.
How does it work?
Your JobPro Data and User Interface file are uploaded to your in house FileMaker Server instance from a FileMaker Pro client. You can also configure a UI (user interface) file for remote users, which is configured to connect to the data file that is on your server. All users use FileMaker Pro client on their machine to access the system whether in house or remote of the network.
How do I get started?
When you decide to go ahead with JobPro Central we will organise all FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Server licenses for you. We will then help you get setup with FileMaker remote access.
