Key Personnel

David O’Donnell – David is the founder of the company and has significant software development and graphic design experience. Prior to starting Softouch Technologies in 2000 David worked for other FileMaker development companies (Ireland and Australia), Apple Resellers and Service Providers as well as a design and print company. With a degree in graphic design/visual communications, David first started working with FileMaker Pro in 1993.

Mark Holman – Mark has a very technical background with a degree from Trinity College Dublin in ‘Information and Communication Technology’ in 2003. Mark has a wide range of skills including the ability to program in JavaScript, PHP, XML, SQL, CSS, HTML and FileMaker.

Shaun Bicheno – Shaun brings a wealth of experience with FileMaker related development on both the Apple Mac and Windows platforms. He has been with the company since April 2008 and previous to that worked for one of the leading FileMaker Development companies in the UK. Shaun’s experience with FileMaker Pro goes back to the mid 1990′s.

William Roche – Will also has a very technical background with a National Certificate in Computer Networking and Fiber Optic Communications and a B.Sc Honours degree in Computer Networking from the Institute of Carlow in 2005. William also has a certificate in Oracle Forms development and in Google Analytic Fundamentals. Skills include the ability to program in JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, .NET, PHP, XML, SQL, CSS, HTML and FileMaker. William Joined the company in 2010.

Ken Barker - Ken’s background in sales, IT and software development goes back to the late 1970’s/early 1980’s. He has years of experience in the FileMaker / Apple market and has worked for a number of Apple Resellers during that time as well as running his own IT business. Besides being kept very busy looking after customer customization, Ken also manages tech support and production scheduling.

Stuart Grimes – A passed finalist Chartered Management Accountant with years of experience in sales and marketing. Stuarts experience goes back to 1992 and ranges from audit practice and banking, through to financial positions within Dell, Apple and HP. Stuart also has experience as business manager with an Apple Reseller with multiple locations/stores in Ireland. Stuart’s experience means he can understand any workflow you are trying to recreate when moving to JobPro, ensuring JobPro suits your workflow and not your workflow having to suit JobPro as is often the case with ‘boxed’ products. In his spare time Stuart likes to do mountain biking.

Owen Dooley - Owen is involved with various areas of the business including tech support and facilities/IT management.

Lisa O’Donnell – Lisa has significant administration and planning skills developed through training and employment with various organisations in Ireland and abroad.

Keith Byrne – Keith has worked in technical support areas in IT and broadcasting. He joined the company in 2013 and has recently completed a Higher Diploma at The Digital Skills Academy, Dublin under the WebElevate 2.0 programme of study. Skills include PHP, HTML, CSS and Filemaker.

Sharon Bramble - Sharon has over 18 years of experience in FileMaker development on both the Apple Mac and Windows platforms. Certified by NUI Maynooth with a professional diploma in Professional Development & Continuing Education and the Joint Examining Board (UK & IRL) with a Diploma in ICT Skills she has been with the company since June 2013. Previous to that she worked as a business process consultant, database developer & corporate trainer with various companies in Ireland.
